Economic Recovery in the Gaza Strip Program

As part of Palestine Information & Communications Technology Incubator’s (PICTI) efforts to support and enable Palestinian youth, especially those who are pioneers in the technology sector, we extend an invitation to technological pioneers in Gaza who have innovative ideas for technological projects with the ambition to execute them and start-up their own company, to participate in the “Economic Recovery in the Gaza Strip” program by PICTI in cooperation with OXFAM – Britain and DANIDA.

Through this Program PICTI will:

• Incubate the best 5 ideas for a project in the technology sector for 2012.oxfam
• Provide training to pioneers in launching and managing their projects.
• Provide a complete package of services in business development, incubation and acceleration.
• Make office space, technical support, and networking available to the pioneers and help them in developing a business plan, marketing, legal services, etc.

Conditions of acceptance into the Program:

• In addition to those with technological degrees, PICTI encourages participants of other educational backgrounds to join, those with Business Administration degrees, Marketing degrees etc.
• There must be an innovative technological idea behind the project, regardless of the sector the project is geared towards a product or a service.
• PICTI encourages participants to build partnerships and emphasizes team-work because of its importance in the success of start-up companies.
• PICTI encourages innovative ideas from Special Needs participants.

ضمن الجهود التي تبذلها الحاضنة الفلسطينية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات (بيكتي) في دعم وتمكين الشباب الفلسطيني لا سيما الرياديين في القطاع التكنولوجي، ندعو كافة الرياديين والرياديات في قطاع غزه ممّن لديهم أفكاراً لمشاريع تكنولوجية إبداعية يطمحون لتنفيذها وتأسيس شركاتهم الخاصة، للتقدّم والاشتراك في: "مشروع الإنعاش الإقتصادي في غزة" والذي تنفذه بيكتي بالشراكة مع أوكسفام – بريطانيا وبدعم من دانيدا

ستقوم بيكتي من خلال هذا البرنامج بـ:
-    احتضان أفضل 5 أفكار مشاريع قابلة للتنفيذ في مجال التكنولوجيا خلال عام 2012.
-    تدريب نوعي للرياديين والرياديات حول تأسيس المشاريع وإدارتها،
-    تقديم حزمة متكاملة من خدمات تطوير الأعمال من خلال الاحتضان وتسريع النجاح.
-    توفير الحيز المكتبي، الدعم الفني، التشبيك، كذلك مساعدة الرياديين في تطوير خطط الأعمال والتسويق والخدمات القانونية وغيرها.

شروط القبول في البرنامج:

•    بالإضافة للتخصصات التكنولوجية تشجع بيكتي الرياديين والرياديات من التخصصات المختلفة للتقدّم للبرنامج، لا سيما إدارة الأعمال والتسويق وغيرها.
•    يشترط توفر فكرة مشروع تكنولوجي إبداعي لدى المتقدّمين بغض النظر عن القطاع الذي يخدمه هذا المشروع سواء أكان "منتج أو خدمة".
•    الالتزام بالبرنامج التدريبي والاحتضان حال قبول الفكرة، روح المبادرة و العمل الجماعي.
•    تشجع بيكتي وتحث الرياديين على بناء الشراكات وتشكيل فرق عمل لأهمية ذلك في نجاح الشركات الناشئة.
•    تشجع بيكتي الأفكار الريادية من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة
