About the EUSEEDS Project
EUSEEDS (Enable, Upgrade and Spread Employability, Entrepreneurship and Digital Skills of Eastern Mediterranean Youth) is a 36-month regional initiative implemented across Cyprus, Egypt, France, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine. The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, one of the largest EU cooperation initiatives in the Mediterranean.

The project enhances youth employability, strengthens digital skills, and supports entrepreneurship through the creation of 20 University Employability & Entrepreneurship Centers in disadvantaged areas.
Project Objectives
- Build and strengthen 20 university employability centers.
- Train 7,100 students, graduates, and vulnerable groups (with 4,100 trained annually after the project).
- Develop digital skills, transversal skills, and entrepreneurship capacities aligned with labor-market needs.
- Establish 20 university pre-incubators to promote student entrepreneurship.
- Provide digital literacy and professional digital skills training to vulnerable populations (women, youth, refugees, NEETs).
- Create a regional job-opportunities platform connecting employers and trained talent.
Target Beneficiaries
- Final-year students & recent graduates
- Young women and youth from disadvantaged communities
- Vulnerable populations: NEETs, refugees, displaced persons
- University staff and trainers who will join local skills networks
A total of 380 trainers will be certified and form a regional capacity network.
PICTI’s Role in the EUSEEDS Project
As the Palestinian partner in the EUSEEDS consortium, PICTI contributes to the implementation of project activities in Palestine, with a focus on digital skills development, employability, and student entrepreneurship.
