Palestinian Women Enjoying their Economic Rights and Promoting Social Change

Palestine Information and Communication Technology Incubator (PICTI) in partnership with Alianza Por La Solidaridad (APS) and Women’s Technical Affairs Committee (WATC) implemented the project “Palestinian Women Enjoying their Economic Rights and Promoting Social Change” funded by Generalitat De Valenciana.

The overall objective of the project focused on strengthening the role of women in the promotion of an inclusive and sustainable economic development and the equality between women and men in Palestine.

Project Outcomes:

  • Strengthened capacities for the creation of economic initiatives for women in the West Bank.
  • Improved employment access capabilities of women survivors or at risk of gender-based violence in Palestine.
  • Economic actors and holders of obligations in Palestine are aware and assume changes and commitments for the promotion of gender equality and the eradication of sexist violence in the workplace.
